Create a GoldReg Import Mapping
Do not confuse the GoldReg Import Mapping with the Gold Mapping Protocol.
Gold Mapping Protocol is an SQL script that is used to imort the text file produced by GoldReg to import into your Gold System Database. See Import Instructions for more help.
GoldReg Import Mapping is a tool used to Pre-load a GoldReg site with information.
The Data File:
- Create an Input file from a spreadsheet or a GoldReg Export File.
- File must be TAB delimited
- Input fields must be in the order outlined on the import map form. The order is left to right, top to bottom
- Column headings are NOT NEEDED
The Mapping Process:
- From the Admin. Site of GoldReg, Open the Invitation Process form.
- Name your Import Mapping
- Check the fields you are importing from your file
- Attach your spreadsheet
- Run your Import
All imported records receive a status of INVITED. An email will be sent to the attendees you have invited to the imported email address. A confirmation number and their login email address will be supplied in this email, giving them update capabilities to their registration page. |
