What is a wave?
Some meetings have multiple sessions during the course of the meeting. Each session has a unique start and end date. The Gold System refers to these sessions as waves. Every attendee is registered to a wave. Therefore, the system requires at least one wave be created per meeting. For example, a large sales recognition meeting of 1000 attendees might be divided into four "waves" of 250 people each. The recognition event may occur during the entire month with each wave of people spanning one week.
