What’s the difference between a company and a resource?
A company in the system is defined as any distinct company location, whether it is a company that an attendee works for or a vendor that is being used for supplies. A Resource is a company that provides goods or services such as hotels, DMC's, restaurants, printers, etc. You make a company a resource by using the "plus" sign in the Resources module/Resources tab. This is also where you can select the boxes to make the resources hotels and venues.
