What are demographics?
Demographics are characteristics about people, companies, or attendees. To maintain valuable demographic information, it is important that the questions are consistent among the population (people, companies or attendees) and the predetermined answers are consistent for each question. The Gold System offers the ability to define demographic questions and multiple choice answers to the questions. There are two elements that must be defined for each demographic, the Question and the Answers associated to the question. Please keep in mind that every question must have at least one corresponding answer.
Meeting Specific Demographics are questions that pertain to each attendee at a meeting. Questions and related answers are defined for each meeting in the Meetings module on the Q/A tab. The questions are then answered for each attendee in the Registration module on the Registration tab under the Demographics page. Meeting specific questions might include: Purpose for Attending Meeting, Training Track, or any other question that would apply to the current meeting but would not apply to all meetings.
